Self-employed drivers can claim vital funds from this week

Gary Jacobs from Eazitax is advising the chauffeur and private hire industry as to if they are eligible for the Self-Employment Income Support Scheme (SEISS) which opens this week.

The HMRC have started contacting self-employed drivers who could be eligible for the scheme. Drivers must  use the online checker which will quickly confirm if they are eligible and will give you them  a specific date from which they can make a claim.

You can help your drivers by; ensuring they are aware they may be eligible, helping them to find the details they need such as the online eligibility checker. 
Also there is a section for those that may not be eligible to help them further.
