BENTLEY Motors has announced it will reveal significant new details about its first fully electric car and an unexpected new model during a live-streamed presentation from its Crewe headquarters next week.
The event, taking place on Wednesday, 5 November at 16:30 GMT, will mark five years since the launch of Bentley’s Beyond100 strategy, the bold plan that set the British marque on its path to becoming a fully electrified luxury brand by 2030.
Viewers will hear from Chairman and CEO, Dr Frank-Steffen Walliser, and other board members, who will outline progress on Bentley’s first battery electric vehicle (BEV). The model is expected to set new standards in luxury and performance, billed as “the world’s first true Luxury Urban SUV.”
In addition to updates on Bentley’s electric future, the briefing promises a surprise — a limited-production new model due to launch later this year, which could signal a final flourish for Bentley’s combustion-engine craftsmanship before its all-electric era begins.
The presentation will be streamed live from the future production line of Bentley’s first BEV at the company’s historic Pyms Lane site. Registered viewers will also be able to take part in a live Q&A session following the main briefing.
The livestream will be available on the Bentley Newsroom at 16:30 GMT on Wednesday 5 November.
