Clients exposed – all you need to know

I’m going to buy you a watch for Christmas
I’m not a particularly well educated man but one thing I do fairly well is tell the time. This skill has served me well throughout my life and I’ve become really rather good at it even if I do say so myself. As a chauffeur, you will drive very highly educated individuals, people who have responsibility for billions of pounds and possibly thousands of people. Unfortunately, a surprising number of these incredibly clever and articulate folk have a common weakness – the complete inability to comprehend the length of time that is 30 minutes.

You see, on numerous occasions, a clients’ parting words to you will be along the lines of “I’ll be half an hour at most”. Be warned ladies and gentlemen, this is a lie, a plain, unadulterated untruth and don’t ever fall for it. Worse still, this unique ’30 minute’ thing isn’t exclusive to the exec world, celebrities have also used it for years and as for Middle Eastern clients, well, they lead the world in the 30 minute con.

I learned the reality a long time ago, that their half an hour and yours and my half an hour bear absolutely no resemblance.  Their infamous 30 minutes actually allows you enough time to wash and polish the car, eat, drink, have an unhurried bowel movement and get a tattoo of Donald Trump on your right bum cheek.
