Tristar wins Emirates Manchester contract

It’s been revealed Tristar Worldwide Chauffeur Services is to inherit the Emirates contract from Manchester and Birmingham Airports.

In an email sent to Sapphire Travel Management drivers and leaked to TheChauffeur.com, ells staff they will be transferred to Tristar when it officially takes over the contract by April 2018.

Drivers for Sapphire Travel Management, which inherited the multi-million pound Emirates contract were advised in January the airline had terminated the contract to transport it’s business and first class passengers at major UK airports.

It is unknown how many ex-PCS staff will be employed by the new contract operator.

Tristar Worldwide Services have failed to respond to requests for an official statement.
