CHAUFFEURS who operate small, medium or large businesses in the UK can now benefit from more support from the trade association.
The Licensed Private Hire Car Association (LPHCA) has recently expanded its Chauffeur & Executive Committee, following discussions with Chairman Greg Mendoza and Deputy Chairman Jimmy Lazarou, as well as several of its members.
Chairman, Steve Wright said: “It has become very clear recently that the Chauffeur & Executive world needs to have quite separate, but equally important, representation on certain matters such as livery and plate exemptions. There is also new legislation coming to Wales and Scotland, some of which is specific to Chauffeur & Executive.
By expanding the Chauffeur & Executive membership and representation we can fight proposals, training and regulations that are simply not relevant to that part of the Private Hire Industry.”
