Chauffeur publishes book created from behind the wheel

Published on

A Chauffeur who used down time between his duties to write a novel has published his first book.

Retired Michael Jones, 57, worked for Tristar from its Frodsham base for seven years and compiled the Thriller entitled ‘No Longer an Officer of the Service’ over a four year period.

Published in November, the book focusses on a character called Maximilian Ericsson, who’s life is one most people wouldn’t choose. His boss at MI5 informs him that his next mission will be his last, he will no longer be required by the Service.

Settling family matters isn’t all he’ll endure during his mission as he stumbles into a courageous plot threatening the young life of the future King. Collectively this all adds up to a ‘tense, fast paced story’ from the start.

Mike has already begun his next book, a follow on to his first novel and he hopes to publish it in August this year.

The book costs £10.00 including delivery and can be ordered by emailing Mike at
