TfL Increased Fees to be discussed at urgent meeting

An urgent meeting has been called in London to encourage the industry to fight back against proposed increased operator fees.

The Licensed Private Hire Car Association is calling upon every London operator to stand up and be counted and make their voices heard against plans to massively increase the Transport for London Operator License Fee.

A spokesperson from the LPHCA said; “This could have a profound impact on Operators in London and Nationally.  If operator fees go up by the eye-watering figures agreed by the TfL Board, this could bankrupt many operators and members, which is likely to also affect suppliers to the industry. No doubt similar proposals could be implemented by Licensing Authorities outside of London, causing hardship for our national members too.”

All operators in London are being urged to attend the meeting on 9th November in central London.
