The flagship model from Mercedes-Benz has received an overhaul for 2018 and will be revealed at the forthcoming Geneva Motor Show.
Inspired by a pinstriped suit, the radiator grille features vertical struts, whilst chauffeurs can choose two-tone paint options much like the previous generation of Maybach models. Specially trained varnishers apply
the second bodywork clear coat which includes intermediate sanding during the paint process.
The 6.0 V12 super-limo measures just over 5.4 metres in length with a wheelbase of 3.3 metres – exceeding the long-wheelbase S-Class by 20cm.
Since it’s relaunch in 2015, more than 25,000 S-Class models have been sold worldwide and in 2017, more than 1 in 10 S-Class models ordered was a Mercedes-Maybach – mainly in China, Russia and USA.
