Insurance firm receives prestigious industry title

Established industry insurance firm Direct Chauffeur Line is celebrating after receiving a prestigious title.

Based in Surrey, DCL has been awarded ‘Corporate Chartered Insurance Broker’ status by The Chartered Insurance institute (CII). The company is apparently the first broker specialising in hire and reward insurance to be awarded this title.

Direct Chauffeur Line Ltd is an independently owned broker specialising in chauffeur and minicab insurance. Established in 1999, it was the first brokerage to solely specialise in providing chauffeur insurance and thirteen years down the line, the company is moving from strength to strength.

Andy Hussey, Managing Director of DCL (Pictured), who holds the individual Chartered Insurance Broker title believes that being awarded this status is a landmark achievement for his company: “I am immensely proud and honoured that DCL has achieved this accolade. It is a great testament to everyone at DCL for all their hard work and innovation over the past thirteen years.”

Chartered status is an exclusive title only awarded to firms which meet rigorous criteria relating to professionalism and capability. All Chartered Insurance Brokers commit to the CII’s Code of Ethics, reinforcing the highest standards of professional practice in their business dealings.
