Industry event to tackle Olympic and Legislation topics
Chauffeurs are being urged to find out how the 2012 Olympics will affect their businesses by attending a dedicated road show in June.
The Licensed Private Hire Car Association has announced the date of its final event before the Olympics hit the city and promises to cover important industry topics such as the implications ahead of the games as well as important legislation issues.
To be held at the Marriott Hotel, Heathrow, the event will hear from the Director of Transport for the Olympic Delivery Authority, Hugh Sumner along with representatives from The Law Commission who will be talking about plans to radically change Taxi and Private Hire regulations.
The event will also showcase a number of vehicles from a number of manufacturers along with industry suppliers from areas such as in-car payments, software and insurance services.
