Emirates took ‘immediate steps’ following PCS court ruling

Emirates bosses took action as soon as PCS Events Ltd was found guilty, according to a statement from the airline.

An Emirates spokesperson has told TheChauffeur.com; “Since the court ruling in November which found PCS Events Ltd guilty of corporate fraud, Emirates took immediate steps to review and replace our service provider.’

Drivers for Sapphire Travel Management which inherited the multi-million pound Emirates contract were advised on Wednesday (10th January) the airline had terminated the contract to transport it’s business and first class passengers at major UK airports.

The spokesperson continued; “Given the spread of our UK operations, and the need to ensure service continuity for our customers, we are transitioning to a new chauffeur service provider in phases.”

In November 2017, a jury convicted Runcorn based PCS Events Limited which trades under the names PCS and PCS Chauffeurs of fraud.
