Chauffeur vehicles at the LA Auto Show 2011

We all know the USA is a completely different world when it comes to choosing a chauffeur vehicle – but we thought we would take a look at the gas guzzling cars on offer at the recent LA Auto Show.

Although most of them would never reach the UK market, there were some luxury saloons which will soon be seen on our roads such as the all-new Lexus GS and revised Chrysler 300C.

During the visit, we got a quick look at the recently revealed Lincoln MKT which has been the talk of the limo industry since it was announced the Town Car would be replaced. The Crossover type vehicle certainly shows potential and can offer more room and flexibility to clients than the Town Car – many coachbuilders have started to build stretched versions of the MKT with positive results.

Other vehicles at the show included the stunningly long Hyundai Equus limousine and Infiniti QX vehicles would wouldn’t even fit on the UK roads! One vehicle which really stood our for us was the Infiniti JX37 which goes head-to-head with the Audi Q7 – there is no news as to if this will make its way to the UK.
