BMW 5GT crowned in Chauffeur industry awards

Judges at The Chauffeur Car of the Year Awards 2011 have recognised the BMW 5GT as the best in its class in this year’s competition.

The awards, decided by chauffeurs, concluded the attractive chauffeur programme on offer to the industry and the high levels of luxury in the BMW 5GT puts it ahead of its compeititors in the £50,000 and under Category.

The 5GT was judged against other vehicles in the same price bracket such as the Audi A6, Jaguar XF and Mercedes-Benz E-Class which was awarded as the chauffeurs favourite in 2010.

Paul Gibson, editor of thechauffeur.com commented; “The BMW 5GT represents amazing value for money for any chauffeur, especially with the programme on offer by the manufacturer.’

He added; “The vehicle offers the rear seat client almost the same comfort and space as the 7-Series range, whilst offering the chauffeur incredible MPG figures and adequate space for 
luggage. This is what set the 5GT apart from its competitors in the category.’

The Chauffeur Car of the Year Awards are run by industry online magazine www.thechauffeur.com were launched in 2005. The awards set out to discover and crown the best vehicles to suit the hire and reward chauffeur market in the UK in a number of categories.

Other categories in The Chauffeur Car of the Year Awards saw the Hyundai i800 Automatic and Audi A8L both recognised as best in their class.
