BBC Radio One highlights Limousine Laws

BBC Radio One joined in with the ‘more than eight’ debate last month during its nightly news programme.

Reporters gathered comments from the National Limousine Association (UK), VOSA and a limousine operator from Guildford, Surrey who expressed their concerns that operators are still carrying more than eight in their limousines.

The station broadcast a warning to its millions of listeners that travelling in a limousine with more than eight is illegal and it even heard from passengers who revealed some interesting limousine driver horror stories.

Many operators from around the UK have contacted The Chauffeur Magazine over recent weeks to express their anger over various national media reports which they say are having a major impact on the limousine industry.
