The Judging to find which vehicle is worthy to receive prestigious The Chauffeur Car of the Year 2010 title is now complete.
Almost twenty carefully selected vehicles have been tried and tested by a panel of judges and a winner has now been chosen – but you will have to wait just a bit longer to find out which vehicles will be hailed as the winners in each category.
Amost eight thousand miles have been driven in the array of cars which have been tested to find the winner of these unique ‘un-hurried’ awards. Split into four categories, the awards are being judged by a group of experienced and thorough chauffeurs from around the south-east.
Each car is driven no less than three hundred miles and is judged for its performance, comfort and ride, boot space, quality of chauffeur programme and running costs.
Thechauffeur.com created the awards in 2007 and winners since then have been Lexus LS600hL, Jaguar XJ and the Bentley Flying Spur.
Heading up the judging team is Editor, Paul Gibson. He commented; “Each of our judges have different areas of interest and concentrate on various parts of the vehicle. This gives us an excellent report back on how a particular vehicle would perform within the industry.”
