HummerHummer celebrates five years in business

A popular Hummer hire business has celebrated its fifth anniversary in style at a recent VIP party in London.

HummerHummer, now based in London was started in the West Midlands in 2005, when owner Richard Silvester decided to offer a dedicated hire firm for the popular American 4×4 limousine.

The company celebrated this landmark birthday by holding a VIP party at the JuJu Lounge in London and was blessed with a visit from singer Pixie Lott who partied into the early hours with the HummerHummer team and clients.

Richard told thechauffeur.com; “When first launching HummerHummer, we started with one standard size Hummer vehicle for hire, we are delighted to have grown the company organically moving with the times.

He added; “Our major presence in the digital world has been a huge factor to this success. We will continue to innovate and maintain the high standard of service we have always strived for.”

HummerHummer was featured on an episode of The Apprentice which received more than 8.11 Million viewers. The company was also featured on the X Factor final for the JLS homecoming tour (2008), Wags Boutique, 5th Gear and many more prime time UK shows.

Over the past five years, the company has made sure all its vehicles are converted to LPG, reducing harmful emissions by up to 90% compared to petrol and diesel.
