Chrysler announces changes for 2010

Chrysler UK Ltd is delighted to announce a raft of new improvements to the 2010 Grand Voyager range. These improvements will add even further to Grand Voyager’s premium proposition whilst lowering the cost of ownership.

Available in three derivatives, the LX, Touring and Limited, the front-wheel drive Grand Voyager comes with a six-speed automatic gearbox and a choice of two engines; a 2.8-litre turbo diesel engine and a 3.8-litre V6 petrol engine.

The Grand Voyager prices range from £26,995 for the LX entry model to £34,995 for the top of the range 2.8-litre diesel Limited model. The 3.8-litre petrol model costs £35,495. Standard features include Stow ‘n Go seats; power sliding side doors; power tailgatre rear-view interior conversation mirror; third-row power side windows; a removable torch; directional LED reading lamps and automatic three-zone climate control for all passengers. Grand Voyager Limited models also get power folding 3rd row Stow ‘n Go; back-up camera and rain sensitive wipers.

To keep passengers entertained, an optional dual-screen DVD system is available allowing second-row passengers to play a video game or watch a different film to those in the third row. The uconnect gps system offers MP3 player compatibility, a touchscreen and voice-controlled navigation system along with the ability to store more than 4000 songs on an integrated 30GB hard drive.

Passenger safety is well catered for with traction control; ESP; tyre-pressure monitoring; front and all-row side-curtain air bags; as well as seven full-size seats with fixings for three Isofix child seats all come as standard across the range. 2010 models will also benefit from the additon of active headrests. (Late availability)

The Grand Voyager diesel version has reduced CO2 emissions by 10% and has dropped a tax band – moving from tax band L to K – saving £200 of vehicle excise duty in the first year. Fuel economy has also improved by over 10% and now returns up to 33.6 mpg on a combined cycle further reducing the cost of ownership.

As with all models in the Chrysler range, the Grand Voyager is backed by a peace-of-mind owner’s package and comes with three year/60,000-mile mechanical warranty, seven-year anti-corrosion warranty and one year European roadside assistance.

Nigel Land, Marketing Director at Chrysler UK Ltd said: “With more than 25 years as the world’s best selling MPV, and with over 12 million vehicles sold worldwide, the Grand Voyager remains the most luxurious MPV on sale in the UK marketplace and offers the ultimate flexibility and utility for active lifestyles.”
