Chauffeur Job Vacancies – 22/3/2010

Chauffeur – Surrey. We are looking for a clean, reliable, ambitious and self motivated driver to join our growing business. The hours are flexible but we would expect drivers to be available early morning and early evening. 40 hours per week.

All drivers are self-employed and can expect to earn in the region of £500-£700 per week after 3 months. However this will depend upon your expenses and whether you own your own vehicle. It is preferential that applicant possess their own vehicle (less than 3 years old) However, we can provide a prestige car (typically Mercedes) which drivers rent from the company for approx £400 per month. (deducted from earnings).

Potential applicants will be required to pass a separate driving and local knowledge test which is set by Guildford Borough Council. This PCO licence takes approx 2-3 months to obtain. We are actively seeking drivers who possess a private hire licence (Guildford Borough). Please dont contact if you just want infomation regarding the licence as this can be obtained from Guildford Borough Council website (licencing).

Don’t contact if you expect to work immediately, as you WILL REQUIRE A PRIVATE HIRE LICENCE. All applicants must hold a UK driving test. You must live in/around Guildford Borough (no more than 20 mins from Guildford)

CASUAL CHAUFFEUR BEARER required for M. Garton & Son Ltd., funeral directors. Duties to include driving and bearing the coffin on funerals, and to take part in the on call rota (to include occasional weekends) for removals of the deceased from private houses and nursing homes.
