New Hummer COIF limo for industry

A COIF conversion company has announced it is has developed plans to supply triple axle Hummer limousines in the near future to the UK industry.

Pinnacle Engineering, based in Manchester has revealed it has obtained full EU brake approval on the H2 model and is also undergoing final component testing on the vehicles axle.

The company which adapts Hummer H2’s and Ford Excursions to comply with the Certificate Of Initial Fitness legislations will also be adding the 200 inch Cadillac Escalade to its product list in 2010 and recently received approval to supply the conversions to customers in Ireland.

The announcements come at a time as the Vehicle Operator Services Agency (VOSA) is apparently cracking down on operators who run over eight-seater limousines without an operators license and COIF approval.

Recent enquiries by thechauffeur.com as to the results of any crackdown on illegal limousines since the announcement in September 2009, have resulted in a poor response from the government agency.
