Blaze destroys Essex business

An operators business has been completely destroyed after fire tore through its two vintage limousines recently.

Fire-fighters from Waltham Abbey, Loughton and Cheshunt, Essex were alerted by more than a dozen 999 calls to Vintage Limousines based in Waltham Abbey.

The two beautiful 1930’s Model A Ford replica limos were hand built by the company, but were
completely destroyed by the fire – the limousines were said to be worth around £65,000 each.

A spokesperson from Essex Fire Service said; “The vehicles were parked outside the premises
when the owner heard the alarms sounding and then discovered the fire.’

“As expected, the owner is completely devastated following the incident as his business has been completely destroyed.’

The investigation into the blaze is continuing.
